What Does the Institute of Religion Council Do?

From the Policy Manual for the Seminaries & Institutes of Religion, the council has the following responsibilities:
1. Assist in identifying and encouraging all potential institute of religion students to enroll.
2. Discuss the needs and correlate the activities of all groups represented on the council.
3. Prepare an annual institute activity calendar with budget information for approval by the institute of religion advisory council.
4. Plan, coordinate, and carry out all activities approved by the institute of religion advisory council.
5. Appoint temporary committees to help with assignments and activities as needed.

So...what do you really need to worry about? Point 1. Many of the activities associated with Points 2-5 are now handled by the YSA Wards, so we do not have to worry about that...as much. We still have some activities we need to manage together, specifically, the devotionals we rebroadcast after the YSA wards meets at Jamboree.

Fortunately for us, the wards have taken over the lunch portion of the rebroadcasts, so the institute is providing some simple stuff.... Hopefully this will remain simple...I hope.

The next CES rebroadcast will be on November 11. The wards will provide the food, the students will mingle until about 2:30, then our institute choir will sing, and we will press play on the pre-recorded broadcast. At the end, the Air Force Academy Choir will close with a song, we will have a prayer, everyone should help clean up and we're out of there! Hopefully it is that simple.

Sooo, guys, I need your help to get young people to come and join us! You never know who you might help save.... Watch this short video and consider who the Lord wants you to invite to institute, today!
